11:17, Wednesday. 14 March 2012.

Excessively warm is an understatement for today at this time of year, more like a midsummer day than winter.  62 degrees right now with not really any wind but coming from the West.  High moisture content with 70% humidity and the warm air has higher relative moisture capacity.  Pressure has been on the rise since 4:00pm, if that continues with might see clearer skies tomorrow but today we had scattered cumulus clouds.

Looks like a cold front will move over us, if this drops the temperature significantly it could threaten fruit crops.  However the wind could switch bringing that warm front from Nebraska up over us.

If that cold front persists for the next couple of days we could see freezing temperatures.

The upper air streams don't show the bulge of continental polar air that would seriously chill our region, so we might escape a return to frost.
