The sky is completely clear and the wind comes blowing in from the Southwest. The air is warm from the sun's rays, around 34 degrees. Soon with the sun moving low on the horizon the heat will dissipate and it will get very cold tonight. The reason is without clouds there is nothing to block the sun's rays coming in; however, without the clouds at night the Earth's infrared radiation will escape more easily into the atmosphere.
