11:46, Tuesday. 17 April 2012.

The warmth returned to Wisconsin today.  It started out very cold this morning with frost on the grass; however, by noon Cumulus clouds with abundant sunshine moved in.  Now it is a modest nighttime temp of 53 degrees.  The wind is coming from the southeast and both humidity and pressure have dropped rapidly over the day.

The jetstream has normalized back to it's horizontal pattern which is the cause of the temperature picking back up.

It looks like low pressure to our west will move in soon and bring with it stormy weather and possibly cold air, but it should not look anything like the below 30 temperatures we just saw.

You can see the effect of the Low pressure area in Minnesota, bringing all that wind up from the South.  So, our temperature tomorrow will depend on how far north that system moves; if it moves north of Eau Claire we will have warm winds from the south but if it moves to our south the northern winds will have a cooling effect.
