It's 47 degrees right now still with very low winds; however, we are begining to see the effect of that warm front I think because it was very cold this morning and even frosted last night but by noon today it was hot.

The dominant front from yesterday is moving slowly East.  You can judge its position by the strong wind corridor in the center of the country.  I note that on the western side of the front the winds are moving generally perpendicular to the front while on the eastern side they move very close to parallel.

It appears that we are on the imminent threshold of the vanguard of storms with this front.  We are going to get hammered with rain because the front is made of warm air and the corridor of wind is going to pull a lot of moisture up from the gulf and just fuel the showers.

This shows the very moist air which is poised to pass over Wisconsin.
