9:20, Sunday. 15 April 2012.

We have been hit by a heat wave like a atmospheric tsunami.  It is currently 70 degrees out with a strong west wind, cumulus clouds and high humidity.

Judging by the inward, counter-clockwise motion of the winds, we are near the epicenter of a large low pressure front.  Coupled with the recent rainfall the cell also appears to be drawing moisture up from the Gulf making our air unbearably humid.  I would guess from this map that the front line may run from Chicago down to the Texas-Louisiana border.

The Front is a little bit west of my prediction.  It apparently runs south directly from the epicenter of the cell.  However, where I predicted its location runs a string of high end moderate storms.  The cell shows a large bulge in the atmosphere of polar continental air, so we may see a huge shift in temperature within the next 24 hours.

Here again we see the bulge in the jetstream, so it seems likely that the temperature will drop.
